The Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its most well attended Annual Dinner on January 17 by celebrating the accomplishments of Chamber members and hearing a Keynote address by Milwaukee Brewers Catcher Erik Kratz. Erik regaled us with stories of his time in both the Major and Minor Leagues, lesson learned from playing ball and how to be a leader on and off the field. The highlight for many Chamber members was Erik’s time of Q & A after his formal presentation. He graciously met with attendees both before and after dinner.
The Chamber was pleased to recognize Moyer Indoor/Outdoor for its 150th Anniversary. The Pillar of the Community Award went to Grand View Health. The Cornerstone of the Community Award went to Hoff Properties and the Charles H. Allebach Jr. Community Service Award went to the Indian Valley Character Counts! Coalition.
The talent in this community is impressive. Whether on the playing field, in the board room, the non-profit sector or any area of commerce, the Indian Valley is blessed with people who go out every day, give it their all and build a community and economy we are all proud of! If you stop and really think about all the things this area has to offer, it has no rivals.
